Authors go on tour as part of the North Cornwall Book Festival

Calling all literary enthusiasts! The North Cornwall Book Festival, now in its 10th year, is introducing a year-round series of events — the Author Tours.


From May through to November, The North Cornwall Book Festival are bringing an eclectic range of authors down to Cornwall, who will talk about their books at mini tours around the county. The events are in partnership with Edge of the World Bookshop, Launceston-based Charles Causley Trust, and Falmouth Literary Festival.


There will be six Author Tours across May to November, with the first author visiting the Eagle House Hotel in Launceston this Friday. In Launceston, the rest of the tour dates take place as follows:


Rachel Joyce on her latest novel Miss Benson’s Beetle, The Eagle House Hotel in Launceston - Friday 20th May at 7.30pm.

Seán Hewitt on All Down Darkness Wide, The Eagle House Hotel in Launceston - Sunday 14th August at 7.30pm.

Helen Oyeyemi on Peaces, The Eagle House Hotel in Launceston - Sunday 11th September at 7.30pm.

Duncan Minshull, Joanna Kavenna and Irenosen Okojie on Where My Feet Fall, The Eagle House Hotel in Launceston - Sunday 13th November at 7.30pm.
