Get up to some spooky fun this October half term!

October is here, and that means plenty of treats, dressing up and Halloween fun are to be had this half term.

That’s why we’ve put together a list of all the fun activities you can take your kids along to this October half term. Feel free to screenshot or print out and make your half term plans accordingly!

Halloween Dragon Hunt

Charlie Bears is hosting a Halloween Dragon Hunt between 18th and 31st October, 10am-4pm, at their Bearhouse!

Two of their 12 Charlie Bears dragons have got lost somewhere in the Bearhouse while the team were setting up their Halloween decorations - and they need your help to find them! Visit the Bearhouse gallery anytime during the half term holidays and try and find the two missing dragons, and you’ll get the chance to win a Halloween trick or treat lucky dip prize!

Glow in the Dark Light Party

A Christian alternative to Halloween, the Gateway Centre will be hosting a Glow in the Dark Light Party on Sunday, 31st October from 5pm-7pm for children aged 5-10 years - what a great way to round off half term!

Dress code is party/superhero/neon (no scary costumes). Message the Gateway Centre on Facebook or Izzi on 07514726164 to book.

Children’s Halloween Party at Launceston Football Club

Launceston Football Club will play host to this children’s party on Saturday, 30th October from 2pm-5pm. Children’s entry is £3, adults go free. With plenty of party games and a Best Costume competition, this party isn’t to be missed!

South Petherwin Halloween Party

Another Halloween party will be taking place at South Petherwin Village Hall from 3pm-6pm on Saturday, 30th October for children aged 3 to 12. There will be a Halloween treasure hunt, fancy dress competition, disco, games and activities, snacks, refreshments, hotdogs and burgers, plus there’ll be a chance to win a prize if your carved pumpkin is the spookiest!

Tamar Trails Halloween Trail and Haunted Hollow

From 23rd-31st October, follow spooky clues through the woods and explore the Haunted Hollow at Tamar Trails. Just pick up your clues sheet from the centre for £2 per child, includes a treat at the end. Booking is essential via https://treesurfers.co.uk/product/halloween-trail/
