Launceston Life to host series of Business to Business events during G7 Summit weekend

The G7 Summit, which takes place between 11th and 13th June, is seeing a number of events come to Launceston, including a series of Business to Business events over the three days with Launceston Life.

Are you a business owner wanting to be involved in arguably a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to network with other like-minded businesses from across the country during an important weekend, set against the backdrop of the Cornish countryside? Launceston Life is giving you the chance, and here’s what you need to know about the events...

Set across three locations to showcase three elements of our town, we will be hosting a range of different activities.

Friday's event at Parnalls Solicitors is limited to just eight attendees, Saturday at Launceston Rugby Club can welcome 18 people and Sunday's event at Firebrand Taproom and Shop, 15 people. Tickets are first-come, first-serve and anyone interested in attending will need to let Launceston Life know the day and which parts of the event they would like to attend.

Have Your Say

Between 11am and 12pm, there will be a brainstorming session. During this hour, attendees can discuss how the money available after the G7 Summit could potentially be spent in Launceston if the town is successful in applying for a sum.

Watch

In the afternoon, between 2.30pm and 3.30pm, there will be a chance for attendees to watch footage straight from Carbis Bay where the G7 Summit will be taking place and discussing what impact the themes and discussions will have on Launceston. Are they reflective of issues present in Launceston, and is the G7 Summit relevant to the town and community?

Discuss

To finish, between 3.30pm and 4.30pm, there will be a live Zoom debate with Cornwall Chamber of Commerce and other regional hubs, to discuss what everyone thought of the G7 Summit footage and what could be done with any funding for Launceston.

Interested in attending? Interested in having your say? Everyone with an active role in the town is welcome.

Register your interest with Ellie, director of Launceston Life, by emailing ellie@launcestonlife.com. Spaces are limited and you will need to say which day you would like to attend and if you’d like to stay for the entirety of the day or just one particular section.
