The festive season is fast approaching, and Christmas calendars are beginning to be populated with lots of fantastic events.
For an evening full of festive cheer, with Launceston’s heritage at its heart, join the Charles Causley Trust on Friday 9th of December for a Causley Christmas.
Held at St Thomas’s Church in Launceston from 7pm, a Causley Christmas will feature Charles Causley’s poems put to music by folksinger Jim Causley, performances from local schools, as well as memories and tales of Charles Causley from friends and former pupils.
The evening will be a celebration of Causley’s legacy, with his work brought to life again by Launceston’s local youth.
Tickets cost £5 and can be bought via causleytrust.org or at Launceston Visitor Information Centre. Refreshments will be available at St Thomas Church from 6.30 pm.
