Launceston-based salon The Colour Lounge has been celebrating after winning four awards at the 2022 Salon Awards.
The hairdressing team based in Launceston’s High Street is delighted to have been presented with four awards for their work, two of which were for The Colour Lounge’s director and colour specialist Lisa Whitehouse.
Lisa was awarded ‘Extension Artist of the Year’ and ‘Curly Stylist of the Year’, while the salon bagged ‘Best Salon for Hair Extensions’ and ‘Best Colour Salon’ for the second year in a row.
Lisa said: “It’s really good! It’s marked by professionals, so the awards bring some awareness and recognition to the salon.”
Lisa has been hairdressing for 17 years, and The Colour Lounge has been operating out of their salon in the High Street for four years.“I just like being a hairdresser in Launceston,” Lisa said. “We love doing it for local people, and doing what we enjoy every day in the local area. It’s about doing the best job we can in Cornwall."
