Coop are proud to announce, in partnership with St Thomas Church, that they are launching a new bereavement support group.
The Launceston support group meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7pm. This new group offers those who have suffered a loss, a safe space to talk, to be helped and supported by experienced staff and others in a similar position, within a caring environment.
Katie-Sarah Willing, Funeral Director at Launceston and Okehampton Coop Funeral Care, said: "We are really pleased to have teamed up with St Thomas Church, to start a bereavement group within the Launceston Community. The group is open to anyone who would like to attend. We're here, we understand how difficult this can be and we promise to help you every step of the way."
Coop Member Pioneer Gemma Massey added: "I am so glad this group is now able to begin, Katie-Sarah and the team will be waiting to welcome anyone, with tea and coffee, compassion and kindness. Losing someone can be such a difficult time and this will be a safe space, once a month, for those in need to have some extra support.”
