Caring for cats for over 30 years: A note from Launceston's Cats Protection

Our branch has been running for over 30 years, rehoming over 100 cats and kittens each year.

Some of these cats require veterinary treatment which we fund to ensure all cats we rehome are healthy. We help numerous feral cats in our 'Trap, Neuter and Return' scheme (TNR). Feral kittens, if young enough, often transform into lovely domestic pets. Our neutering voucher scheme allows those on low incomes/benefits to have their cat neutered for £10 at a participating vets and with kitten season fast approaching, this is even more important.

A dedicated team of fundraisers work tirelessly to stage events, selling an array of kindly donated goods alongside delicious cakes, produce and hand-made crafts to raise money so we can help as many cats as possible. We are grateful for the generosity of our supporters and the hard work of our volunteers. We could not do any of this without them!
