Younger visitors will love the free interactive visitor centre and the new inclusive play area, both next to the café.
On the other side of the lake, an action-packed programme of adventurous activities is awaiting at Roadford Lake Activity Centre. Hire watersports equipment, launch your own, or learn something new by taking part in an activity session, booking a course or joining a club. Clubs include sailing for adults (Wednesdays) and children (Saturdays).
During April, take advantage of ‘locals month’ to receive a 25%discount on equipment hire – a thank you to the local community for their continued support. During the school Easter holidays, join a ‘have a go’ session and try your hand at paddleboarding, windsurfing, archery, high ropes, sailing or kayaking. There are also multi- activity days full of adventure for those aged eight to 16.
