Take small steps to better health with Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust programme

Are you someone who lives with a long-term health condition and would like to find a way to get proper support?

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust's expert patient programme will allow patients to take small steps to better health through a free online self-management course. The programme is designed for people who would like to improve their quality of life, learn new skills to manage their health condition, meet others and share experiences, communicate better with loved ones and professionals about their condition, and feel more confident and in-control overall.

The expert patient programme is being run by cft online for anyone living with a long-term health condition, which will be delivered over seven weeks for no more than two and a half hours and led by volunteer trainers with lived experience.

The course will cover relaxation techniques, dealing with difficult emotions, exercise, eating healthily, coping with depression, pain and fatigue management, and planning for the future.

To book a space on the course between Thursday, 4th November and Thursday, 16th December, 11am-1.30pm, contact Elaine Curno on 07824598626, 01579 373 500 or elaine.curno@nhs.net
